This Privacy Policy explains how poyogames ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information in our games and related support services that link to this policy (the "Service"). It is a shared policy: not every game includes accounts, cloud saves, leaderboards, analytics, advertisements, or purchases. The descriptions below apply only when the relevant feature or service is included in the game you use. A game-specific privacy notice, where provided, supplements this policy.
We process personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea ("PIPA"). Information linked to an account, device, or other identifier can be personal information even if it does not include your real name.
Submitting a score to a public leaderboard can make your display name, score, rank, selected character, and associated run statistics visible to other players. Avoid using a real name or contact information as your display name. We do not intentionally display authentication tokens, email addresses, or payment receipts on leaderboards.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, we process information with consent, to provide a service you request or perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations, or for another legally permitted ground such as a legitimate interest in security and fraud prevention, subject to the required safeguards. Acceptance of our Terms of Service is not a substitute for consent where separate consent is required.
You may choose not to use optional account linking, online features, purchases, or rewarded advertisements. A guest account is not necessarily an offline account. Device advertising controls, tracking-permission controls, and any privacy or consent options provided by the game or advertising service can affect advertising data use. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily remove all advertisements or all processing needed for non-personalized ads, security, and delivery. Contact us if you need help exercising a choice.
When information is no longer needed and no retention requirement applies, we delete it or irreversibly anonymize it. Electronic records are removed using the deletion processes of the relevant systems; backup copies are removed through their applicable deletion or rotation processes. App stores and other providers may retain information they control under their own legal obligations and privacy policies.
Depending on the game, platform, and enabled features, the Service may use the following providers. The presence of a provider in this shared policy does not mean every game sends information to that provider.
Providers may act on our behalf or process information for their own purposes as described in their policies. We may also disclose information when legally required, to protect users or the Service, or with your consent. Advertising-related disclosures may be treated as "sharing" or a "sale" under some privacy laws; available opt-out rights depend on the law that applies to you.
Use of global authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising, and store services can involve processing outside your country, including outside the Republic of Korea. For example, Google states that Firebase Authentication processes data in the United States. Other processing locations depend on the provider, service, and selected infrastructure region.
When an applicable feature is used, the information described above is transmitted electronically to the relevant provider for that feature. Provider details are linked in Section 6, and retention is described in Section 5. Where applicable law requires additional recipient, destination-country, transfer timing, retention, or safeguard information, or separate consent for a transfer, that information and consent must be provided for the relevant game and transfer. This shared policy does not replace a required transfer-specific notice or consent.
You may decline an optional feature or withdraw applicable consent by contacting us. If processing necessary for an account or online feature cannot lawfully continue, that feature may no longer be available. Contact us for information about the providers and processing locations applicable to your game.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or suspension of processing, withdrawal of consent, or a copy of your information. You may also have rights to object to certain processing or opt out of targeted advertising or applicable sale/sharing. We respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason a request cannot be fully fulfilled.
To request deletion of a poyogames game account and associated data: Use the account-deletion option if available in your game, or email developer@poyogames.com with the subject "poyogames account deletion request". Include the game name and your service/support ID, if available. You may use this email route even if you no longer have the app. If you cannot find your ID, describe the account so we can help identify it.
We may need reasonable information to verify that you control the account; we will not ask for your sign-in password. Deletion covers the account and associated data we control, including cloud saves, public ranking entries, and account-linked game records, subject to the limited retention exceptions in Section 5. Progress and access to account-linked virtual items may be lost. Deletion does not delete your Google or Apple account and is not itself a purchase-refund request. Store-managed records and refund rights are handled separately.
You may make a request through an authorized representative where the law allows, and may contact the Personal Information Protection Commission of Korea or your local privacy authority about unresolved privacy concerns.
Some poyogames games are rated for all ages. A content rating does not remove requirements for parental consent or child-appropriate data and advertising practices. Where applicable law requires consent from a parent or legal guardian, including for consent-based processing of a child under 14 in Korea, that consent is required before the relevant processing. We do not knowingly process children's information in violation of those requirements.
Parents and guardians may contact us to ask about, access, or request deletion of their child's information. If we learn that information has been collected without legally required parental consent, we will take steps to stop the relevant processing and delete it unless retention is legally required. Child-directed services and users identified as children must receive the privacy protections and advertising restrictions required by applicable law and platform rules.
We use account authentication, access controls, and encrypted network connections provided by our service infrastructure to help protect information. Local game files may remain on your device. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure; please keep your device and sign-in account secure and avoid sharing authentication or purchase tokens.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Service or applicable requirements. We will update the date above and provide notice of material changes through the relevant game or website as required by law. Where a change requires new consent, notice alone does not replace that consent.
